Istanbul Harman Folklore & Youth Sport Club organisation would like seeing your dance group in INTERNATIONAL GURE EDREMIT CULTURE FESTIVAL, which will be held between 1-5 September 2011. We are willing to organise, expand this International folklore festival every year and would like to see different cultures from all over the World.
INTRODUCTION
Our aim is not only to bring different culture together but also we will be so glad to indroduce our historical ancient beside providing you wonderfull beaches at Eagean seashore and lovely waterfalls at the west region part of Turkey . Besides the coastal and mountain scenery and the villages tumbling down their slopes, the Kaz mountains are renowned for the high oxygen content of the air. It is an ideal climate for those who suffer from asthma, bronchitis or infections of the respiratory tract
FESTIVAL CONDITION
Performances are approximately 20-30 minutes with CD or live music.We will invite 3 or 4 countries for this festival in 2011. INTERNATIONAL EDREMIT CULTURE FESTIVAL 2011 is open to the groups such ( Folklore, Modern Dance, Brass band majorette ,Choir singing groups, street theatre groups,children, young and adult groups).
GURE Town Municipality Festival organisation committee will provide to each group an English speaking guide; also will organize tours such visiting historical and touristic places, famous waterfall, public bazaar, and museum .
PARTICIPATION FEE
Participation fee; is 75 Euro per person for 4 nights.
Groups will arrive on Thursday noon (lunch will be given) and on Monday morning after breakfast will leave from festival area. You have to pay rest of cost at the first day of the festival to one of Harman responsible person who will be join during the festival period. Payments will be in cash. Regarding festival rules if groups come more than 40 people two leaders are free and if groups coming with their own bus , two bus drivers are free, too.
ACCOMMODATION
We will provide to you three meals and accommodation at the TOURISTIC HOTEL in GURE and swimming pool .
Visiting Tahtakale museum,walking at the Kaz mountain IDA , Pınarbaşı Waterfal,dance seminar groups will teach their dances to the other groups ,daily tour in Edremit town and public bazaar, traditional boat tour at the Edremit Gulf.
