SIDE ANCIENT TOWN, HEART OF MEDITERNEAN

Harman Folklore culture organization performed various concerts and folk dance shows in Europe, Asia and the U.S.A.  we organized Turkish Days, Weeks and Show in hotels and oriental shows our teachers have taught Turkish and oriental dances and Turkish music in various countries. We have taken part in many international Festivals and organized some Folk Festivals in our country.  We perform 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes programmers. If you have  folk and music festival in your country, we can participate and send our documents your post address.

GENERAL INFORMATION  

INFO : Istanbul Turkiye Harman Folklore & Festival organisation would like seeing your dance group in Side International children CULTURE  festival, which will be held 01-05 June in 2009. We are willing to organise, expand this International Culture  festival every year and would like to see different culture s and different kind of Dance – Music – Brass band , modern Dance, Theatre  groups   from all over the World.We will invite 5 folklore group, 2 Brass band groups, 3 modern dance or street teatree group. We will invite totaly 10 groups in 2009. 

ACCOMMODATION : Accommodation in *** Star s HOTEL  and Turki s h cui s ine deliciou s three meal s open buffet . Hotel including s wimming pool and AQUA PARK, only 500 meter s far from the  beach. 

PERFORMANCE : Performance only afternoon  after dinner  ma x 15 minute s , each group each night. Group s can perform with CD or Live Mu s ic.

The participant group s mu s t pay their own tra v el e x pen s e s from their Country to Turkey and return. If group i s coming by bu s , at the end of the fe s ti v al, group s will get 200 Litter free Ga s oline from SIDE Municipality petrol s tation.  If group tra v el by plane and arri v e to I s tanbul  or Antalya airport, a bu s will be hire for all ground tran s portation’ s and group will pay it s co s t.

We can accept min  25 people , max 45 people including two bus drivers. Group’s dancer ages must be younger than 17 years old. If you are interest to participate to this festival please ask application form and festival conditions and rules.

  SIDE INFO :  (pronounced See-deh) was an ancient maritime city of Pamphylia, about 16 km from Seleucia; it currently lies on the southern coast near the villages of Manavgat and Selimiye (about 75 km from Antalya), in Antalya Province, in the Asian part of Turkey. Alexander the Great occupied Side without a struggle in 333 BC. Alexander left only a single garrison behind to occupy the city. This occupation, in turn, introduced the people of Side to Hellenistic culture of the Greek Civilization,
