FRANCE ANNECY TURKISH WEEKS                     

  HARMANFOLK SEMINAR : The aim is to introduce, the Turkish Culture, customs and traditions to all the people who work live in Culture and have the mood of the musician and the dancer. In this seminar, the goal is to meet Turkish various cultures and bring people together friendship and love. Duration of the seminar participants will learn Karsilama, Ciftetelli and different region part of Turkish traditional folk dance (Middle East, East and North of Turkey Black Sea dances), there will a dance teacher from Greece who will teach Pontus and Sirtaki dances, too .

  HARMANFOLK INTRO : Harman has been regularly arranging this seminar since 2000. In 2001 there was a Canadian group, 80 people had been teached very famous dance teachers. In 2002 there were  two lady from Holland, came here to learn only Turkish oriental belly dance. In  2003 July there was group from Norway, and we offered  them excellent program. In 2004 August, another group  from norway participated to the seminar again in Istanbul. We went to Larissa in Greece and we teached Turkish dance  to the groups from Norway and Greece in 2004. 

  COURSE : There will be teachers who speak English and well experienced in this arena, 2 Turkish dance teachers whose teach  traditional turkish folk dance, Ciftetelli ( Ottoman women dance) and Roman (  Gypsy Turkish dance karsilama 9/8) dances and one Oriantal belly dance teacher, 2 Turkish musicians,  There will be 6 hours of instruction daily. Each participant will receive a CD which includes dances and will have a seminar t-Shirt, too.

  FREE ACTIVITIES DURING THE SEMINAR : You will be able to see the famous historical and touristic places (Blue Mosque, Sultanahmet Mosque, and Ayasophia) and shopping at the GRAND BAZAAR, which provide an amusing opportunity of all entertainments of shopping mix the east and west. Grand Bazaar is the oldest art and largest shopping center in the world, it’s covered more than 30 hectares of the land in this labyrinth system of streets and passages there are more than 18 entrances and approximately 400.000 daily visitors. Countless products coming from the east, west, north and the south meet here. Million of choices provide shopping with a great pleasure. All kind of products are supplied such as carpets, jewellery, silverware gifts, souvenirs, hand make crafts, leather wear, coppers etc...

One of Harman interpreter will be responsible with group like a guide, who will take the group to all historical places, to Grand Bazaar. They will have to taste very delicious Turkish cuisine meals, very famous Turkish coffee, nargile, tea as well.

  OTHER ACTIVITIES: During the night times they will be able to join some dance show places (Turkish music, folklore, belly dances house). : The main goal is in this seminar, all the participations who return home to gain a lot of new friends and great memories. A traditional excursion by private boat along the waterway (BOSPHORUS) its 30 km long separating EUROPE-ASIA will be excellent and full of unforgettable sceneries.

  TRANSFER : From airport to the hotel, from hotel to the seminar place and back,  by bus .

You are going to see the historical and touristic places of İstanbul some which are Ottoman, Byzantium Cultures and Shopping Centers which provide the opportunity of all the authentic and modern entertainments of shopping of the East and West with our experienced tourist guides.You also have the opportunity to spend your time with free activities authentic parties and activities.We would be happy by giving these kinds of services with different country dances and this  “ Practical Seminar ”

  ISTANBUL FOLK SEMINAR :  ( 8-10 days Folk seminar ) 14-22 hours dance seminar. Including 3 meals a day, accomodation, touristic tours, free activities, shopping, transfers from airport to hotel to seminar place and the return.. We’ll give photographs, musical notes and dance cassettes to all the participants.  

  ABROAD TURKISH FOLK SEMINAR : For the ones who want to learn Turkish Dances in any place on the World.Our dance teachers are experienced, have joined to several festivals and seminars all over the World, have foreign language. And we have 2 musicians. There’s no problem about the visas neither our teachers nor musicians. These prices are not including the transfers, accomodation, meals and the costs of visas. Our dance teachers will bring some informations about Turkish Folklore, about our activites CD, pictures of costumes and the musical notes of the dances which will be taught.
